DAY 1: MARMARIS-BODRUM AIRPORT TRANSFER - BODRUM-ADANA FLIGHT - TASTE BREAKS - PANORAMIC CITY TOUR AND EXCURSIONS - ATATÜRK HOUSE MUSEUM - CINEMA MUSEUM - KAZANCILAR MARKET - HOTEL
We will meet our representative at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at our meeting point in Eşref Girginç Park (across from LC Waikiki). We will depart for Bodrum Airport at 11:25 a.m. to board the Bodrum-Adana flight (Pegasus PC 3621). After completing our ticket process, we will board our flight and arrive in Adana after an approximately one and a half hour flight. After meeting at our vehicle at the airport, we will begin our tour. We first break for a local lunch at a restaurant to sample Adana's famous flavors and begin our gourmet explorations. After lunch, we embark on a panoramic city tour of Adana, visiting important landmarks such as the Seyhan River and the Stone Bridge. Then, we visit the Adana Atatürk House Museum. Built in the late 19th century, this historic mansion is known as the place where Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed during his visits to Adana. Inside, you'll find Atatürk's belongings and period documents. Following our visit, we visit the Adana Cinema Museum. This museum, dedicated to the significant artists Adana has contributed to the cinema world, features photographs, works by Yılmaz Güney, Şener Şen, and other renowned figures, and documents pertaining to the history of cinema. We then visit the Ulu Mosque, the Ramazanoğlu Madrasa, and the Ramazanoğlu Mansion. Built in 1541 during the Ramazanoğulları Principality, the Ulu Mosque represents an impressive synthesis of Ottoman and Mamluk architecture. The adjacent Ramazanoğlu Madrasa is notable as a pre-Ottoman educational center. Located in the same area, the Ramazanoğlu Mansion is a significant structure, reflecting the architectural characteristics of the period. We continue our tour to the Grand Clock Tower and Kazancılar Bazaar. Built in 1882 and Turkey's tallest clock tower, the Grand Clock Tower is considered one of Adana's most important symbols. We take our group photo here and then have free time in Kazancılar Bazaar. Guests can shop in the bazaar, which offers coppersmiths, handicrafts, and local souvenirs, or simply soak up the atmosphere of the historic bazaar. Our final stop is a panoramic view of the Sabancı Central Mosque. One of Turkey's largest mosques, this structure stands out with its modern architecture and magnificent appearance. We also offer a selection of gourmet dishes for dinner. After a first day filled with both cultural and gastronomic experiences, we transfer to our Adana hotel. After check-in, you can relax. DAY 2: ADANA ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM - TARSUS JOURNEY - HISTORICAL TARSUS HOUSES - ST. PAUL'S WELL - ST. PAUL'S CHURCH - TARSUS LOCAL LUNCH - KIRKKAŞIK BEDESTENS AND FREE TIME - GAZİANTEP JOURNEY - HOTEL
After breakfast at our hotel, we meet our guide and captain in our vehicle. We begin the day at the Adana Archaeological Museum. At this museum, one of Turkey's oldest, we examine archaeological artifacts that shed light on the region's thousands of years of history. After viewing artifacts from the Hittite, Roman, and Ottoman periods, we depart for Tarsus.
Upon arrival in Tarsus, we first explore the Historical Tarsus Houses. With its traditional stone structures, bay windows, and narrow streets, we experience the historical fabric of Tarsus up close. Then, we visit St. We visit St. Paul's Well. Because the water in this area, thought to be the birthplace of St. Paul, is considered sacred, many visitors come here to pray. Afterwards, we proceed to St. Paul's Church. Built in the 1850s, this church stands out with its historic frescoes and architecture. After visiting the church, we stop for a traditional Tarsus lunch. Local delicacies include hummus, cezerye, turnip juice, and Tarsus kebab.
After lunch, we visit the Kırkkaşık Bedesten (Covered Bazaar) and have the opportunity to discover Tarsus's handicrafts, spices, and local products. There, we have free time to shop or take a tea and coffee break. Then, we depart for Gaziantep. After a pleasant journey, we arrive in Gaziantep and check into our hotel. In the evening, we join our guests for a local Sıra Gecesi (Turkish Night) program. We spend a delightful evening savoring the most exquisite flavors of Antep cuisine accompanied by live music. DAY 3: ZEUGMA MOSAIC MUSEUM - 14 MARTYRS' MONUMENT - ANTEP CASTLE - HAMA AND CULINARY MUSEUMS - COIN MUSEUM - TASTE BREAK - COPPER SHOP - ALMAZI MARKET - TAHMİS COFFEE - AIRPORT TRANSFER - ANTEP-IZMIR FLIGHT - IZMIR-MARMARIS TRANSFER
After breakfast at our hotel, we check out and meet our guide in our vehicle. We begin the day at the Zeugma Mosaic Museum. At this venue, one of the largest mosaic museums in the world, we examine unique mosaics from the Roman period and see the impressive details of the Gypsy Girl mosaic up close. Then, we move on to the 14 Martyrs' Monument. We receive a brief information at this monument, built in memory of the people of Gaziantep who heroically fought against the French occupation. We then take in a panoramic view of Gaziantep Castle. This historic structure, standing for centuries, sheds light on Gaziantep's defensive past.
Our tour continues with the Hamam Museum. This museum, reflecting Ottoman bathhouse culture, offers the opportunity to examine traditional bathhouse rituals and the utensils used. We then visit the Emine Göğüş Kitchen Museum. This museum showcases the rich heritage of Gaziantep cuisine, learning about the region's most important dishes and kitchenware. Afterward, we visit the Currency Museum, where we explore the currency collection dating from the Ottoman period to the present day, as well as details about its commercial history.
At lunch, we experience local Antep cuisine, sampling famous Antep delicacies like küşleme (a type of flatbread), Ali Nazik kebab, and pistachio katmer (a type of katmer with pistachios). After lunch, we head to the Coppersmiths' Bazaar. Browse among the handcrafted copperware and souvenirs, soaking up the city's authentic atmosphere. Then, we visit the Almacı Market to discover Antep's spices, nuts, and local products. From there, we head to the Historical Tahmis Coffeehouse for a short break with terebinth coffee. After a pleasant break with tea, coffee, or dessert, guests can shop or explore the city on their own.
After free time, we meet our guide at the time and location specified by our guide and depart for Gaziantep Airport to catch our October 10th flight from Antep to Izmir (Sun Express XQ9229). Following our flight, we depart for Marmaris with our transfer vehicle waiting for us in Izmir. Upon arrival in Marmaris, we conclude our enjoyable tour and bid farewell at the same locations we met, hoping to see you on future trips.
