In Eskişehir, which has taken on a European city appearance in recent years, Sazova Park, Porsuk Stream and its surroundings are just a few of the unforgettable trips. DAY 1: MARMARIS-ANKARA JOURNEY-ANITKABIR-1ST AND 2ND PARLIAMENT-MUSEUM OF ANATOLIAN CIVILISATIONS-ANKARA CASTLE AND CASTLE INTERIOR AREA-AQUA VEGA AQUARIUM-HOTEL
We meet you, our valued guests, at 00:30 in the morning at Eşref Girginç Park and move towards Ankara. After the necessary breaks, we reach Ankara in the morning and have a free breakfast break. After breakfast, we set off towards Anıtkabir for our first visit. In this visit, which has a very high spirituality and arouses indescribable feelings, we reach Anıtkabir by walking on the lion road, offer our gratitude to our ancestor and visit the museum in Anıtkabir. After our emotional visit, we visit the 1st and 2nd Parliament and go to the Museum of Anatolian Civilisations, which is a very valuable museum of our capital city and was awarded the ‘Museum of the Year in Europe’ award in 1997. Founded in 1921 by Atatürk, the museum exhibits artefacts from Anatolia in 10 periods starting from the Palaeolithic Age. In this museum of international standard, we absorb the rich Anatolian culture and civilisations. After this visit, we reach Ankara and head towards Ankara Castle to make another visit within the programme. We think that you will feel very good during the walk in the Ankara castle area, which preserves the authentic structure with its old houses where the historical texture will draw you in. After the walk, we reach the castle by seeing the cafes and restaurants, souvenir shops and take great photos with the magnificent view of Ankara. After this visit, we visit Aqua Vega Aquarium, one of the longest tunnel aquariums in Turkey, located in Nata Vega shopping centre, where children and adults can share very pleasant moments together. With 25 different aquariums and a 98-metre tunnel, the aquarium is home to 12000 sea creatures and we will be fascinated by the underwater world. If you wish, you can also visit the Wildlife section where you can experience the fantastic life of not only the oceans but also the forests and deserts. DAY 2: RAHMİ KOÇ MUSEUM- MTA NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM-MİDAS TUMULUS-ESKİŞEHİR HOTEL
We leave our hotel after breakfast. We start our day with a visit to Rahmi Koç Museum where we will be equipped with many new information. In this museum, which can appeal to the interests of each member of the family, we will be able to observe in detail how classic cars, automotive, craft, agriculture, maritime, toys and technology products have come from the past to the present and what changes they have undergone. We visit this pleasant museum in detail, which will take us to our past and make us feel good. After this visit, we turn our route to MTA General Directorate Şehit Cuma Dağ Natural History Museum. In the museum, which we think will be of interest to both children and adults, we learn about mines, stones and fossils, as well as animal species and vegetation from the past to the present in human history, appealing to a wide range of cultures. We can also see animal models such as dinosaurs and mammoths in the 3-storey museum prepared with an interesting and intriguing concept. With this visit, we have seen and visited the most valuable museums and cultural values of Ankara and we say goodbye to our capital city. Afterwards, we reach Polatli and stop by the Midas Tumulus. We get valuable information about the region, which is the centre of thousands of years of legends, and we visit this Tumulus, which has just been included in the Unesco World Permanent heritage list, and then we visit the museum (if it is closed, only the tumulus is visited). DAY 3: WAX MUSEUM-ODUNPAZARI-DEVİRİM CARS-CONTEMPORARY GLASS ARTS MUSEUM-SAZOVA PARK-ESKİŞEHİR HOTEL
After having breakfast at our hotel, we meet in our vehicle and start our visits to Eskişehir, which has many firsts and has been constantly developing in terms of tourism recently with its modern appearance. First, we visit the Yılmaz Büyükerşen Wax Sculptures Museum. We see the wax statues of Atatürk, which were made by Yılmaz Büyükerşen himself, who changed the face of Eskişehir, as well as the statues of many famous names, and we admire these valuable works of art that give the feeling that they are about to come to life. Then, we go to the Odunpazarı region, which sheds light on the history of Eskişehir. During our visit to Odunpazarı Houses, you will be amazed by the examples of 19th century architecture, adjacent bay-windowed houses, wooden decorations and different pastel tone colors. Then, we visit the Eskişehir Contemporary Glass Arts Museum. If we have the opportunity to see glass making live in the workshop, depending on the availability of reservations, we experience this experience. After observing the latest point of glass arts in this beautiful museum, we visit the Revolution Cars Museum. We also see this valuable museum where the Revolution Car, the first car designed and produced in Turkey, is exhibited and receive valuable information from our guide. Then, we reach Sazova Park, which is the Disneyland of Eskişehir, where both children and adults will enjoy very much. Here, in the free time we will give you, you can visit the prominent visitor centers of the park such as the Fairy Tale Castle, Pirate Ship, Zoo, Eti Underwater World, Turkish World Science, Culture and Art Center, Esminyatürk, Science Experiment Center, Sabancı Space House. We walk to the Fairy Tale Castle with our guide in the park. During this walk, we listen to the information about the places to visit from our guide and after the group photo we will take in front of the Fairy Tale Castle, we give you free time to visit according to your interests. DAY 4: OPTIONAL PORSUK CAYİ BOAT RIDE-PHRYGIAN VALLEY AYAZINI METROPOLIS-MARMARIS RETURN
After having our breakfast, we leave the hotel and continue to explore Eskişehir. We take a pleasant boat tour where you can see the most vibrant spots of Porsuk River, which gives the city a European appearance, the modern cafes and restaurants lined up along the river, and observe the flow of daily life. After our boat tour where you can observe the dynamics of the city, we bid farewell to Eskişehir and set off towards the Phrygian Valley to get valuable information about the ancient Phrygian civilization. After the information we will receive from our guide during our journey, we reach the Ayazini Metropolis, one of the most interesting places of the mysterious 3000-year-old Phrygian Way. Ayazini carries a 3000-year-old mystery as it has hosted different civilizations and cultures since the Phrygian period, including the Roman and Byzantine periods. We can see this 3000-year history in Ayazini Metropolis. We carry out our trips in the region with our guide and have the opportunity to capture very original photographs. After completing our visits, we set off on our way back to Marmaris. After our breaks on the road, we return to Marmaris in the evening and say goodbye to you at the points we meet, hoping to see you on other adventures.
