TOUR INSTITUTE

DAY 1: MARMARIS-ÇEŞME TRANSFER-ÇEŞME-CHOS CATAMARAN CRUISE-MARKET-VOUNAKİ SQUARE-NORTH ISLAND TOUR-HOTEL

We will meet you, our valued guests, at Eşref Girginç Park (across from LC Waikiki) at 2:00 AM and depart for Çeşme Port, the departure point for the Çeşme-Chios ferry.

We arrive at Çeşme Ulusoy Port around 8:00 AM. After completing ticket and passport checks, we board our ferry. After a half-hour journey, we arrive on the island and meet our guide. After customs procedures, we load our luggage into our waiting vehicle and begin exploring Chios, the hidden treasure of the Aegean.

Together with our guide, we visit the Chios market, known as the Aploteria, the Mecidiye Mosque, commissioned by Sultan Abdülmecid, and Vounaki Square, the largest and busiest square on Chios. Afterwards, we visit Chios Castle, built during the Byzantine period but later serving as the island's administrative center during the Genoese and Ottoman periods, and examine the Ottoman artifacts within.

After visiting the town center, we begin our tour of the North Island. Our first stop will be the four windmills known as Tabakika, located on the seashore and one of the island's most important symbols. These historic windmills served to draw water to the tanneries, which gave the region its name. Restored in recent years with contributions from the municipality, they have become a must-see destination for all tourists visiting the island. After a photo break here, we continue our tour. Our next stop will be Daskalopetra, the region where Homer, Chios's most famous ancient poet, contributed his works, the Iliad and the Odyssey, to world literature. A large rock, converted into a school by his students in the 6th century BC, this beautiful memorial will make you question the lifestyle and artistic understanding of that era thousands of years ago. We then move on to Langada, the island's most charming fishing village, where we will have a lunch break. At the seaside Greek taverns, you will have the opportunity to sample traditional mezes and classic Greek dishes, as well as the freshest seafood. On the way back, we will take a photo break at the seaside church of Agios Isidoros, one of the island's iconic landmarks. It is said that the story of Mastic begins with this saint. After completing our visits as part of the North Island tour, we will return to our hotel. (CHOS ACCOMMODATION) 4* Chandris Hotel / Diana Hotel

Note: Due to high demand, especially during the summer high season, hotel reservations are made based on availability or your preference, depending on your travel dates.

GREEK NIGHT: If you wish, you can join an unforgettable Greek night, enjoying traditional island cuisine for dinner, accompanied by bouzouki, and enjoying Greek music and dancing.

FEE: €50.00 (live music, set menu meal, and unlimited local drinks)

NOTE: You must inform us of your participation in the Greek Night and make your reservation one week prior to your travel date.

DAY 2: SOUTH ISLAND TOUR - ARMOLIA - MESTA - PYRGI VILLAGES - FREE LUNCH - CHIOS PORT - ÇEŞME CRUISE - ÇEŞME - MARMARIS TRANSFER

After breakfast, we board our vehicle and begin our tour of the southern villages of Mastihahoria, the island's largest village, which holds the global monolith of mastic production. Our first stop is Armolia Village, renowned for its centuries-old handmade ceramics, and we take a short break to visit one of the renowned ceramic workshops. Afterwards, we continue our journey to Mesta, another popular village on the island, a labyrinthine village. Famous for its magnificent medieval architecture and the Church of Taxiarhis, one of Chios's most important and magnificent churches, you'll be lost in time as we explore this ancient medieval village. Like other villages, this village, built to protect against pirate attacks, has only two entrances and exits. These gates were closed in case of danger, ensuring security. After our tours, we arrive at the village square and take a coffee break. Afterwards, we set off for the fairytale village of Pyrgi. With its narrow streets bearing traces of the Middle Ages and its houses built close together to protect against pirate attacks and painted with a special plaster technique, Pyrgi is a popular destination for tourists visiting the island. We believe you will be captivated by the geometrically patterned houses of this village, which will make you feel as if you've stepped back in time. After completing our village visits as part of the South Island tour, we head to a seaside tavern for lunch. Here, our guests can choose from a menu of seafood and appetizers.

This concludes our Chios itinerary and we depart for Chios Port to board our ferry. After our journey, which will take approximately half an hour, we return to Çeşme Port. After completing our passport procedures, we meet our vehicle and captain waiting for us at the port. With the joy of having had a unique experience and discovered yet another island, we set off back to Marmaris, arriving around midnight. We'll drop you off at our pick-up points and bid you farewell until we meet again on our next tour.
